Retreats
At Wolves in Action we offer four retreats for members throughout the year. We offer two ‘Spiritual Retreats’ and two ‘Service Retreats’ where group members have the ability to select the retreats they attend. Each retreat is unique, with retreatants getting their own special memories out of the experience. Thus far, the Sevice and Spiritual retreats have taken place at Seven Hill in the magnificant Clare Valley over three days and two nights. Moving into the future, locations as well as retreat goals will develop with the group.
Service Retreats have entailed, working around the winery and church doing odd jobs, gardening, cleaning and meeting and feeding the cows by the La Storta House at Seven Hill. In future, there are plans in place to work with different organisations allowing the group to serve the wider community where it is needed most.
Spiritual Retreats are focused on the participants, with goals to facilitate an environment that allows the retreatants to gain deeper connections to their full selves. This is done through numerous activities, which touch on personal reflection about both past, present and future selves. Each individual participant returns thinking and feeling more deeply about themselves and who they are and who they want to be.
Within both retreats, we have deep discussions, masses, examens and movie nights to stimulate each participants full self and strengthen the groups dynamics. Click below to find out more about the next upcoming retreats.
Workshops
A central focus of the group is allowing members to train for and lead workshops in different settings. We offer tailored workshop experiences run by our young and enthusiastic members. Thus far, the group has successfully run many 'Day of Reflection' style workshops for various schools around the state aimed at students between years 10-12.
